Welcome to CleanSweep! By using the CleanSweep platform, you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service (“ToS”). These terms govern the use of CleanSweep for clients seeking cleaning services, and for cleaners offering their services as independent contractors.
1. Introduction
The purpose of these Terms of Service is to establish a legal agreement between CleanSweep, clients seeking cleaning services, and cleaners providing those services. This document outlines the rights, responsibilities, and legal obligations of all parties. By using the CleanSweep platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Definitions
"Platform": The CleanSweep website and related services.
"Client": Any individual booking cleaning services through CleanSweep.
"Cleaner": Independent contractors offering services through CleanSweep.
"User": Any individual accessing the platform, whether a client or cleaner.
3. Service Overview
CleanSweep is a marketplace platform that connects clients with independent cleaners. CleanSweep does not directly employ cleaners but facilitates the booking process. CleanSweep is not responsible for the actual services rendered by cleaners.
4. User Eligibility
To use the CleanSweep platform, you must be at least 18 years old. CleanSweep reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not comply with these eligibility requirements.
5. Account Registration
Users must register for an account to use the platform. Clients and cleaners are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. Any fraudulent or unauthorized use of your account must be reported to CleanSweep immediately.
6. Payments and Fees
All payments for services booked through CleanSweep must be made using the platform’s approved payment processors (e.g., Stripe). CleanSweep charges a service fee for facilitating transactions. Clients are responsible for paying fees as outlined in their service booking.
7. Responsibilities of Users
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring access to the property. Cleaners are responsible for fulfilling the services they agree to provide, adhering to quality standards, and complying with local regulations as independent contractors.
8. Liability Disclaimer
CleanSweep is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from services performed by cleaners. Cleaners are independent contractors and are solely responsible for their actions. Clients and cleaners agree to indemnify CleanSweep from any claims or disputes.
9. Dispute Resolution
CleanSweep encourages clients and cleaners to resolve disputes directly. In the event that a resolution cannot be reached, CleanSweep may offer mediation services. All disputes are subject to binding arbitration in accordance with local laws.
10. Termination of Service
CleanSweep reserves the right to terminate any user account that violates these Terms of Service. Cleaners and clients may also request termination of their accounts by contacting customer service.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the CleanSweep platform, including text, graphics, logos, and code, is the intellectual property of CleanSweep. Users may not copy or distribute this content without written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Users agree that any legal proceedings will take place in Texas.
